FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Why you do not have try outs? – We do not have tryout for our core teams because we are more of a development program than a business. We have players that are developing, but just not there yet and can’t make a team. How do they get better? We try to be open and honest about what we are trying to do here. Other programs have "tryouts" to cut the players/parents they don't want to deal with. They then place all of the good players on one team and promote that team and advertise that teams activities... all of the other players are placed on teams which fund the business... so in actuality there are not really cuts, everyone makes a team.
- Do you place everyone who registers on a team? – Everyone that is registered is placed on a team unless we end up not having enough players to field a team. In that case you would get a 100% refund.
- If you have too many for particular age group? – Our teams have a minimum of 8 and max of 12 players. After that we split the teams.
- Do you have multiple teams if too many players? – Yes, once we get more than 12 registered any new registration got on a waiting list until we get another 8 in total to have enough for a second team.
- How far is travel for games? - All games are a max of 90 minutes from Ossining, most are under an hour. Rockland, Ardsley, Manhattan, the Bronx and a few possible locations.

- How many days a week does a team practice? - Our teams practice 2-3 times per week, between 1 and 2 hours depending on the team. Usually after 6pm weekdays, weekend times can vary. The location of practices depends on the access to facilities.
- How far does a team travel to play? - Most teams travel is with in an 90 minutes of Ossining, NY. We try to keep players playing close to home when possible. For Elite Teams, it depends on the level of the team. Our Elite Teams games are within 4 hours, however we supply a team bus.
- Is my child allowed to play on other teams? - Yes, Project105 has no restrictions on players playing for other programs. We do ask for a commitment from each player to practice, play and interact as much as possible with their teammates. However, Project105 Titans Elite teams are more restrictive regarding playing with other programs, of course we have exceptions. For any players playing on their school team or school related team or a player being recruited and looking for more opportunities and exposure. Your school basketball should always come first but Project105 Titans Elite takes priority on all other events.
